the study of life

this is the second time i'm here today.
i don't know why, but i just feel like pouring out my thought today.

2010,
i will be teaching form five classes again, besides the form four classes.
the subject? of course my favourite - biology.

for form four, i am assigned to teach two classes. for there are 80 of form four students who gained straight A's in their PMR, i'm expecting a tough and challenging year ahead. Why do I say so? from my experience, this group of brilliant students have a lot of questions, they have various sources of information and of course they have more time to surf the net for the latest info & knowledge. sometimes, these kids asking me questions, the kind that leaving me with the thought "do they think i am a doctor ? or a medical professor?" hehehe... i myself didn't ever dream of becoming a doctor. but i love giving them chance and space to speak their mind. it is part of learning.

and, for form five, i will meet the familiar faces again, at least 60 of them. another 30 ( i think ), will have to adapt to my way of teaching ( facilitating is the better word ).

so, there will be five classes of biology on the whole, waiting for me this new year.
hope the kids will find it is interestig learning biology, because it is 'the study of life'. if it not us to learn about ourselves, then who will do?

alhamdulillah, masih dipanjangkan umur olehNya utk terus menghirup udara di muka bumiNya ini.

tiba-tiba, hari ini tergerak hati utk menjenguk blog ini selepas sekian lama, setelah ditegur oleh seorg bekas pelajar agar sentiasa mengemas kini blog ini hehehe...

anyway, tahun baru membawa cabaran baru yg rasanya bukan calang-calang. pertambahan beban tugas, dihadapi oleh semua rakan guru. semoga kita semua dapat sama-sama mengharungi satu lagi tahun dengan penuh semangat dan tekad.

kepada anak-anak pelajar,
berusahalah bersungguh-sungguh,
hormati guru yg menyampaikan ilmu,
dan jangan lupa agama.

semoga semua urusan kita dipermudahkan olehNya.
